Moving and other craziness

Our garage sale was really successful. Friday was rained out, but there was no complaining, because we really needed the rain!

Saturday we were up early again and got everything out by 8. We had planned to "open" at 9, but as soon as we stared putting out stuff, people started coming up.

At first I was really nervous. It was also oddly humiliating watching other people paw through my discarded stuff...But I got the hang of it pretty quick, and by the end of it I was a haggling fool!

We closed at 11:30. We hadn't had anybody stop in about 45 minutes. We sold all of our "biggie" stuff, except one dresser. We do have lots of clothes and things left, and I'm not sure what to do with it all. I was just going to drop it off at Goodwill, but my mom suggested I store it and have another sale this spring. We'll see.

Tomorrow is officially moving day! Thank the Lord. I hate living among boxes; it's so unsettling. Our new apartment is so cute and nice...I can't wait!!!

I'm also going back to work tomorrow, unofficially. We don't have to go back for another week, but I need the extra time. Also it will help me get back in the swing of things (things being getting up at 5:30. Ugh!).

Jade went to camp today! She is 2 hrs away, probably having a blast, and I'm missing her like crazy! But she's the lucky one; she'll miss out on all the moving craziness. She's a sly one, that Jade ;-)
